Olive oil, freekeh and couscous from Palestine
In the midst of a deeply troubling time and conflict in Israel and Palestine, we can now launch three new products from the West Bank, Palestine. They make a small contribution to hope, income and jobs for a population experiencing war and conflict. This is badly needed. At the same time, we support a good Palestinian company: Taybeh Brewing Co..
Taybeh started as a brewery way back in 1994 and has sold their quality beer in both Israel and Palestine and is thus an example that trade can unite across divides and borders. They are internationally recognized and have been recommended to us by many (read more about the company at warfair.world )
Today, Taybeh collaborates with a number of families and cooperatives on the West Bank and can therefore deliver more than beer - and they create jobs far beyond the brewery itself.
We can therefore offer extra virgin olive oil of the highest quality, freekeh , the completely unique green dried wheat kernels and the delicious Palestinian couscous , also called maftoul.
With the goods from Palestine, we want to make our contribution to creating hope for peaceful coexistence and cooperation.
