Then came sesame from Somalia

It has taken us for a year. But now we have got sesame seeds from Somalia. We are very happy about that.

Somalia, whom we know most for war, chaos and extreme poverty, was once known for producing some of the world's finest sesame. It must be the country again.

Through a collaboration with As SEED AGRI LTD. In Mogadishu we have now got a well-tested quality sample for Denmark. And the collaboration doesn't stop there. We are looking at how we can improve the quality and production even more.

Sesame production creates jobs and income for both the workers at the factory and not least for the Somali farmers and women. That's badly needed.
