New Cashew Nut Factory in Burkina Faso

Our cashews from Burkina Faso are not just huge and top quality. They are also both organic and Fairtrade certified. The 2800 farmers who deliver to the company Gebana are trained in organic cultivation and they get a fair price for their cashews.

The more than 600 employees at the factory get a payroll bonus, have a health insurance, and are part of the local union.

It has been well done in one of the world's poorest countries that has been severely affected by attacks by Islamist groups in northern and where up to a million people have been internally displaced.

Even more impressive, then Gebana has now thrown herself over building a new factory and getting work and income for even more.
