We have now received another unique product: Handmade Herati glass from Afghanistan .

They are made by the association WADAN, which has been hit hard, as women are no longer allowed to work in associations or the UN. But they haven't given up. Every day they drive glass and materials home to the women, who can therefore continue to work, earn an income - and provide for their families.

What we really want to support, and we also want to support the unique and historic craftsmanship. Herati glass is made using traditional techniques that date back thousands of years. Scrap glass is recycled and remelted and hand blown into beautiful new glass.
